PCB Piezotronics Announces New European Sales Manager

November 19, 2012, Depew, NY - PCB Piezotronics, a global leader in the design and manufacture of force, torque, load, strain, pressure, acoustic and vibration sensors, announced the appointment of Alain De Landsheer as the Regional Sales Manager – PCB Europe. Formerly Sales and Marketing Director at Larson Davis, a division of PCB Piezotronics, Mr. De Landsheer was responsible for the implementation of new product strategy, introduction and development. He also helped to define new products and features for all of Larson Davis dosimeter, sound level meter, and real-time analyzer product lines, helping customers to make more effective and efficient sound and vibration measurements.

Mr. De Landsheer’s responsibility will be to increase PCB’s presence in the European marketplace by developing joint marketing programs to promote a unified corporate message. Additionally, he will focus on growing sales revenues through channel penetration by developing relationships with distributorships in the European countries.

Mr. De Landsheer brings to PCB more than 30 years of global expertise in the sound and vibration industry, beginning his career as a mechanical engineer with Honda R&D in Japan. After his tenure at Honda R&D Japan, he transitioned to LMS, where he most recently served as a Business Unit Manager.

Mr. De Landsheer holds a degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the Catholic University of Belgium with emphasis on vibration, modal analysis and model sub-structuring, as well as a post-graduate degree in Management from the Free University of Brussels.
