New Low Noise Differential Output Triaxial Accelerometers from PCB

Introducing PCB Model 3743G Differential Variable Capacitance MEMS Triaxial Accelerometer


April 8, 2025 - Depew, NY - PCB Piezotronics (PCB®) is proud to announce the launch of our new Model 3743G differential variable capacitance triaxial accelerometer. This innovative sensor is designed to meet the demanding requirements of the automotive and aerospace industries with superior performance and versatility.

The 3743G features variable capacitance MEMS technology for stable and accurate measurement. Featuring a wide input voltage range from 5 to 32 Vdc, these sensors excel in applications requiring low-frequency and long-duration event measurement, thanks to their DC frequency response.

The 3743G combines the benefits of differential output (common mode noise rejection) with a screw mount package for easier installation. If a bridge signal conditioner is not available, 3743G can be used in single-ended mode with any DC voltage supply, which will provide half of the sensitivity of differential mode.

Model 3743G features:

  • Precise Measurement: Excellent linearity and very low temperature error
  • Differential Output: Provides excellent common mode noise rejection
  • Dual-Mode Operation: Offers the flexibility of operating in both differential and single-ended modes, catering to a variety of situational needs.
  • Rugged Design: Capable of withstanding shocks up to 5,000 g, ensuring durability in demanding applications.
Model 3743G

 

The model comes in two options: 3743G11 & 3743G12. The 3743G11 has a hermetic stainless-steel package with integral M8x1 8- pin connector. The 3743G12 utilizes the same stainless-steel package with an IP67 connection to its integral cable.

  • Aircraft flight and flutter testing
  • Automotive ride quality and Road Load Data Acquisition (RLDA)
  • Vibration measurement in space launch vehicles
