Series 2680B can be used in flight testing, gas turbine engine testing, and rocket launch payload acoustic measurements.
Series 2680B replaces Series 2680 with several improvements, including: an improved gain adjustment, a lower source resistance minimum to allow for use with high temperature accelerometers and pressure sensors, improved gain accuracy and stability, improved linearity, and is a hermetically sealed unit.
